Features and Benefits

This line of motors ranges from 1/20 to 75 HP, with larger horsepower motors available, to suit any need. All motors are designed for 60 Hz (cycle) power, with fractional horsepower motors also stocked in 50 Hz single-phase ratings to provide greater flexibility. Single-phase motors are split phase 1/20 HP through 1/6 HP, with some 1/6 HP motors and all 1/4 HP motors and larger featuring capacitor start for greater operating efficiency. Standard 60 Hz voltages of 110 and 220 ensure universal use. Polyphase motors are all NEMA design B induction motors, with standard 60 Hz voltages of 208-230/460 and 575V, and 50 Hz voltage of 220, 380, and 400 to satisfy a variety of specifications. With both NEMA C-face mounted motors, which are ideal for use with flange, and rigid base mounted motors, which are the right choice for coupled-load configurations, Boston Gear's AC motors offer maximum versatility.
