Packaging
The POR clutch found on this packaging application will run at high speeds and keep the system timing correct. Here is a juice packaging application that uses the Centric ORC clutch to keep the containers in time with the filler/sealer in case a container gets jammed.
This ORC clutch is used with a double chain sprocket driving an overhead conveyor. Here is a close-up of the ORC clutch used in the juice packaging application above.
The ORC clutch used on this star wheel positions the bottles for filling, capping and labeling applications. This bottle capper has a star wheel above the working table to accurately feed the bottles into the capping process.
The mechanical ORC clutch on this machine is protecting the final bottle packaging process.    
Waste Water
An ORC clutch is being used on a waste water treatment application. Here the WOR clutch is driving a waste water clarifier removing the heavy solids from the bottom of a tank.
The WOR clutch shown in this photo is on a clarifier using the plastic style NH78 sprockets without the jaw style coupling. This is the same picture of the waste water treatment application above with the covers removed.
       
This WOR clutch shows how the chain drives the clarifier in the tank and aids in removal of the solids. Here is a clarifier drive showing that an ORC or a WOR clutch can be used on these applications.
Here is the clarifier drive above at a slight distance showing the drive mechanism of the clarifier. Here is the WOR jaw style clutch in action. Note how the operator can manually disengage the jaw coupling when necessary.
Here are the pictures combined at full distance showing the wastewater tank. The three mechanical ORC clutches at this treatment plant are used for waste water processing.
This mechanical WOR clutch is used in waste water processing. The chains attached to this drive system are sediment scrapers used to separate the solids from the liquids.    
Paper Converting
The mechanical ORC clutch on this machine is necessary to keep process timing and protect the machine upon an overload. The pneumatic VOR clutch on this high speed machine is used to protect against jams but also as a trigger mechanism to apply the brake and shut down the machine quickly.
Here is the mechanical ORC clutch on the Log saw after the roll has been cut. This process must be kept in time with the upstream and downstream process. The pneumatic VOR clutch on this paper drive system is carefully unwinding the roll for use in diapers.
The pneumatic VOR clutch on this printing application is protecting from jams and keeping system timing.    
General Industrial
This ORC overload clutch is being used on a "dirty" pump to protect the drive from jams. The scraper on this sand reclaimer would occasionally jam due to debris or material problems.
This mechanical ORC clutch is protecting the drive system on a baking application. This pneumatic VOR clutch is protecting the processing equipment on a book binder.
The pneumatic VOR clutch in this picture is protecting the drive system from jamming loads on a can closing machine.
